Prof. Soriano and Ms. Billanes represented the Arejola Foundation for Social Responsibility, Inc. and received the 2008 Gawad Pedro Bucaneg for outstanding cultural organizations. The award was given by the Unyon ng Mga Manunulat ng Pilipinas (UMPIL) last Saturday, August 30, at the GSIS Museo ng Sining, Pasay City.
